A lead is mandatory

Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times on the campground (also on the caravan/motorhome campsites).

Dog free zones

Dogs are not allowed in the rear area (caravan/motorhome campsites from the playground on), in the sanitation building, in the convenience store or in section of the tent camping areas.

Walking with the dog

Please leave the campground and go to open terrain. Right at the entrance to the campground, it’s only a few short steps to the forest. Or start your round with the dog there.

Oops…

If your dog happens to do its “business” on the campsite, the lawn for sunbathing or a walkway, we request that you remove this immediately.

And while we’re on the subject…

Please also leave the campground premises for “number one” as well as “number two”. Even just “a pee” and any marking of territory is also to be avoided.

Swimming

Unfortunately, there is a general ban on dogs swimming in Walchensee (as per the ordinance of the District of Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen and the District Office of Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen concernng the “Walchensee” landscape conservation area of 22 June 1995)

Attack dogs

Please be aware that we do not allow attack dogs or attack dog mixes pursuant to the Bavarian Attack Dog Ordinance (“bayerische Kampfhundeverordnung”) on the campground.
