As an intern, you will work closely with the UK scripted development team. You will gain first-hand experience in the legal processes related to our projects. We recruit a number of lawyers in our film and television business, based either in our London office or in our Osterley office in West London. Corporate Legal team support includes providing extensive commercial legal support for our corporate functions. This may include developing new sample documents and training the company on surrounding laws and processes, as well as assisting in drafting and negotiating transaction agreements. This legal intern will work in NBCUniversal International Networks, NBCUniversal`s group of international entertainment channels. You will work with lawyers on a variety of issues including: assisting in the preparation and review of various legal documents, including distribution channel agreements for NBCUniversal and Sky News International, conducting legal research, managing contract signing processes and assisting with ad hoc matters. You will also work closely with our compliance team, such as managing NBCU`s corporate gifts and entertainment system and corporate legal team on international issues related to procurement and company-level agreements. The role of Legal Intern at NBCUniversal is very diverse and provides an opportunity to address business and legal issues in the media and entertainment industry. You will gain valuable skills by taking on various legal responsibilities and you will also gain insight into the wider business. Legal interns (2 positions available) work within the Universal Filmed Entertainment Group and are responsible for the acquisition, distribution and production of film and television content. You will work with lawyers from the beginning of the agreement where a title has been approved by the council, the signing of the agreement until the end of the legal delivery.
