All these people who get up early really confused me. I wake up as late as possible so I don`t miss class. I play all day after or between classes, I have lunch, I chat with people and on reddit. After that, I usually read 3-4 hours a day, either at school or in my apartment. Some days I come home with the intention of reading, watching TV for about 6 hours, panicking a little, taking a shower, and then going back to school to read through the night to class the next day. These are the most productive days because I can do a lot of work when I`m not sleeping. 1:45 p.m. Pack my stuff and return to the law school campus to have office hours with my criminal law professor. Office hours are a way to ask questions outside of class, one-on-one with a professor, and I`ve set aside a fifteen-minute slot to clarify a few concepts with her. I go into detail because I want you to understand what you are signing up for.
I was a straight college all my life who was always the smartest guy in the room. Death has never been once in my life; All I was worried about was not being on top. I have a hard time doing well in law school. It killed that competitive spark that has driven me through life so far (I find little motivation to apply for summer jobs because after almost 50 applications in total, I almost never had an interview, and if I did three times, I didn`t get the job) and left me completely and completely without direction for a while. I had to completely reorganize my priorities. I`m marrying the love of my life in a month, and that`s all that matters. If I fail, I fail. It doesn`t matter. I am a scholarship holder and I was to study, so I have no debt in my name. If law school does not work, I will try to lobby.
If that doesn`t work, I`ll try to make sales or something. I don`t care, to be honest. I`m going to make it work, I`m going to be stereotypical average, and I`m more than okay with that. I wouldn`t say I have a „typical“ day. I panic and try to fix the when it appears. As far as I know, I am in the top 30% of a great school. 351 Likes, 7 comments. Be absolutely sure to agree with this before you commit.
Having played lacrosse most of his life, Daggett always makes time to train and take care of his mental and physical health. It was absolute hell for me. As you can see, I have spent my whole life studying law. I didn`t do anything. On weekends, I would read, study my notes, and try to create a plan. I`ve never seen my girlfriend (now fiancée!), never seen my friends, never played video games, or watched Netflix to watch it. I never had to do anything. It was horrible. But I thought all that effort would get me to the top, check the law, and get a good six-figure job because I`m at the top of my class. And, to be fair, it wasn`t exactly an arrogant position. I had a full scholarship, so I was supposed to be all these things.
I`m going to take this opportunity to remind people to read the sidebar rules. 0L questions usually belong to the 0L thread. A 0L is an incoming law student or a person interested in law school. If the questions are new/useful, we will allow them outside of the 0L thread. Curious about a day in the life of a law student? Look no further. Experience the typical day of a law student in Oregon. I`m not in law school (I hope to be one day), but like girls, we`re the same person. The unprepared call, masses of sushi, wanting to get drunk and remind me to masturbate before I faint. He goes back to school and I pack my yoga stuff. 6:50 End of my coffee and check the bus schedule at mbta.com. My first class doesn`t start until 8:10, but I usually take the bus at 7:09 or 7:12. School is always empty in the morning and I like to have time to settle in and start working. 7:15-7:45am to get to school (only about 12 miles, but traffic is miserable) 6:00 CorePower Yoga 2 to Fresh Pond, let`s goooooooo. Hot yoga is more than a workout for me – it`s a meditation area without a school. No matter how much I have in front of me or how stressed I am, yoga always helps. Because of his experience, Juilfs enjoys giving back to the track and the Eugene community.
He participated in the construction of a pole vault club for pole vault enthusiasts. He has also received training in some local secondary schools. 12:00 I sit at a counter in Tatte (a local coffee shop) to do the following: 11:00 a.m. falling asleep on old episodes of Top Gear on Netflix 10:00 p.m. Not a hard and quick time, but the approximate point „lights“ every night. I`m definitely more of a morning person than a night owl and I`m exhausted at 10. After making sure Ben has set his alarm, we fall asleep and prepare to do it again. Daggett is a big movie buff and spends her weekends watching a movie. 9:10 Five minutes break from half the lesson. Thank God.
Two hours is a long time. 7:10 Departure from the house, directly for shower and dinner.
